How to Solve a Hashi Puzzle
Every Hashi puzzle can be solved through logic alone. The key is finding islands where only one arrangement of bridges is possible, then using those confirmed connections to constrain the rest of the grid.
Start with high-value islands. An island numbered 1 in a corner can only connect one way. An island numbered 6 adjacent to only three neighbors must use double bridges on most of them. These forced moves give you confirmed bridges to build from.
Watch for isolation. Every island must end up connected to the same network. If adding a bridge would cut off a group of islands, that bridge is forbidden — even if the island counts would otherwise allow it.
