10×10 grid · 14–20 islands · ~15 min · 20 islands

All islands connected,

one network, no stone alone —

this is the whole point.

Tips for Medium Hashi Puzzles

  • Look for islands where the sum of their maximum possible bridges exactly equals their number — every connection must be used.
  • If drawing a bridge would completely isolate a group of islands from the rest of the grid, that bridge is forbidden even if the counts allow it.
  • Double bridges are powerful constraints. If an island needs 6 bridges and has only 3 neighbors, at least some must be doubles — work out which.
  • When you get stuck, revisit islands you partially solved earlier. New bridges elsewhere may have eliminated options you didn't notice before.

Medium puzzles often have one or two pivotal islands that unlock the rest of the grid once solved. Find them first.
